Finally ! Someone worth watching on SA. I hate to sound like an art snob (which, maybe I am. I spend too much time on DA where the standards can be a bit high), but most of the art I've seen lately is mediocre at best I came here on a whim after you left me a comment and was surprised to find you're actually a very talented artist :3 I shall be watching you!
Yeah, I broke away from DA too because I feel a little lost in the crowd. I am still on DA though, I just don't pay as much attention to it. I think the only reason I am still on DA is because my brother is on it too
I broke away from DA a few years ago to come to SA. I was really mad at DA's staff - I had used a stock photo for pose reference (I didn't actually use any part of the original photo, just used the pose which can't be copyrighted) and didn't put up a link to the stock owner fast enough (I did it about an hour after upload) and the photographer got all pissed and screamed art theft and had my Daily Deviation on the piece stripped. I wasn't banned or anything, but it was just so ridiculous that I got fed up and left. I ended up crawling back last year, and I'm still really active there, but I figured it doesn't hurt to come post here too ^^
